1) What was the biggest surprise for you in the reading? In other words, what did you read that stood out the most as different from your expectations?
The biggest surprise for me in the reading was that I am identified as an entrepreneurial successor. I was shocked to find out that there is a term for my interesting role in the business world.
2) Identify at least one part of the reading that was confusing to you.
One part that was confusing to me was the exit strategy because I was not sure what way was best in performing this process of exiting a business.
3) If you were able to ask two questions to the author, what would you ask? Why?
1. How can you avoid the problems with hiring family members? I would like to know if there is way to make family members work.
2.Should there be an entrepreneurial and managerial successors in a business? Is both necessary for a successful business?
4) Was there anything you think the author was wrong about? Where do you disagree with what she or he said? How?
I do not think that the author is wrong about any of the information presented.
